The Lagos State command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has warned oil pipeline vandals to steer clear of the state, saying the Corps would not tolerate any form of economic sabotage.
The commandant, according to a statement by ASC I Abolurin Oluwaseun Olumide, the command’s public relations officer, said the protection of lives and property and critical national assets remained a priority to the corps.
Commandant Eweka also said that the government is also in dire need of revenue, and cannot allow any form of sabotage to thrive in the land.
He further said the new administration of the Commandant-General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has spelt out the new policy of the Corps, which is to rejig, revamp, reinvigorate and reposition the Corps.
