Super Eagles’ gaffer, Stephen Keshi, has sent out spies on Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina teams ahead of their group clashes at the Brazil 2014 World Cup, the Big Boss has revealed to The Eagle Online.
The AFCON 2013 winning coach hinted that he is equipped with information about the Super Eagles’ World Cup opponents, saying there won’t be need to hit the panic button when the African Champions step out against Iran, Bosnia and Argentina in Group D at the Mundial.
Keshi told The Eagle Online: “We have received information about our opponents’ playing pattern, approach to games, star players, injuries, strength and all sorts.
“We got some of their video tapes and also employed someone to help us get some more so that we can do further analysis on them.
“I’m also being cautious because too much information sometimes can get you confused.
“However, coaching is our calling, so we‘ve got no other choice than to bring smiles to Nigerians once again.”
The three-time African Champions will open their World Cup campaign against less-fancied Iranian team in Curitiba on June 16 before travelling to Cuiaba for their next game against Bosnia and Herzegovina, just as Stephen Keshi’s lads will seek to avenge their previous loss to Argentina in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
