Keshi, Queiroz, nine others battle for South Africa’s job

Immediate past Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi, and nine other top coaches have begun to jostle for the South African coaching job.
The Bafana Bafana coaching shortlist continues to grow with the addition of several vastly experienced international managers.
The initial list of candidates making up the shortlist for the new Bafana Bafana head coaching role was revealed, with surprise candidates Fabio Cannavaro and Patrick Kluivert included.
The official Twitter account of the national team, @Bafana_Bafana1, has now revealed further names of potential coaches who are vying to take charge of Bafana Bafana.
The new names include former Chelsea boss, Avram Grant; as well as former Dutch international and ex-Chelsea player-manager, Ruud Gullit.
Joining these coaches on the list are Dutch duo, Pim Verbeek and Ruud Krol.
Vladislav Heric of Serbia, Manuel Jose from Portugal and Spain’s Juan Ramon Lopez Caro.
Marcelle Desailly, a World Cup winner with France, has also made the cut, while Ljubo Petrovic is the second Serbian national, who is being considered for the role.
Meanwhile, former Iran manager, Carlos Queiroz, is atop South Africa’s most wanted list, with Keshi in second place.
