Top Nigerian comedian, Julius Agwu, on Tuesday hosted the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention.
The maiden edition of the event took place in Lagos.
The conference also had in attendance veteran media personality and CEO of Inspiration FM, Soni Irabor, and top actor, Joseph Benjamin, as moderators.
According to the organizers, the convention would herald the launching of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Funds.
Also to be unveiled is the Board of Trustees of the Funds.
It is aimed at helping industry practitioners preserve their own future and that of their families.
The convention is the concept of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Lecture Series in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Scheme and Lagos State Ministry of Health.
