President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday in Abuja met with four governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress from the South West zone.
They were Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Ra’uf Aregbesola of Osun State, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State.
At the end of the meeting, the governors said they had a fruitful discussion with the President on crucial national issues.
They, however, refused to reveal any specific issue discussed with Jonathan.
Fashola simply told the State House correspondents that the meeting was a private one, adding: “If there is the need for you to know, the presidential aide will brief you.”
Fayemi said they were in the villa to discuss national issues with the President.
