Iya Awero celebrates 50 years on stage in June

Veteran Yoruba actress, Lanre Hassan, popularly known as Iya Awero, has perfected plans to celebrate her 50 years on stage in style come June.
The event is expected to hold at the Blue Roof Hall, inside the premises of Lagos State Television (LTV8) in Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The talented and prolific actress is a top shot in the Yoruba movie genre.
Hassan is a cross-over actress, who has starred in some English movies.
Her role in the popular sitcom, Dear Mama, comes to mind whenever her name is mentioned.
