I almost joined Chelsea years back – Moses

Nigerian international and Liverpool’s on-loan forward, Victor Moses, very nearly became a Chelsea player more than five years before actually making the move to Stamford Bridge, the Nigerian has revealed.
Moses was an academy product at Crystal Palace in the previous decade and made his Premier League debut with the Eagles.
It was the same time that his current Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, was the youth team manager under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
Rodgers became an admirer of Moses’ talents and the 22-year-old admitted he was being wooed for a switch after just a few sessions with the Blues.
Moses eventually joined Chelsea in 2012.
