Former Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Saturday took an insight into the marriage institution and advised against third party intrusion for maintenance of peaceful and prosperous homes.
The former governor gave the advice at the wedding of Rep. Tijani Muhammed-Ozigi to his heartthrob, Hajarat Jimoh.
At the wedding in Karawuru, Okene on Saturday, Bello said it is very important for well-meaning couples to avoid third-party interference in marital affairs .
He said: “Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, hence need for couples to avoid third-party interference in marital affairs

“In reality, marriage has its ups and downs.
“But new couples need to perceive it as a covenant that endures all seasons, encompassing both joys and challenges.”
The former governor further counseled the couple to continue nourishing the relationship with love and understanding, in spite of all odds.
The high profile wedding ceremony, held in Karawuru, Okene, witnessed the presence of family members, distinguished figures from the National Assembly and associates of the newlyweds.
