Nollywood actress, Lilian Gabriel, has recounted how she was defrauded by a man who claimed to be a Reverend father in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
In a viral video, Gabriel said she met the man somewhere in Asaba who told her he saw a vision for her.
According to the actress, the man told her that since she is an orphan, God is about to wipe her tears and that she should bring her ATM card so he could pray on it as her miracle will come via a financial breakthrough.
She recounted: “This is an advice to everyone and the experience I faced yesterday.
“On my way back from a movie location, an elderly man approached me and asked if I knew the way to Divine Hospital and I told him that I didn’t know anywhere in Asaba, except for places I go for work.
“Then I asked him to give me some minutes while I go nearby and ask someone who could give him the direction.
“Then I went to a shop, to ask someone who gave the man the direction.
“I left to get something to eat across the road so the man asked me to stop that he saw a vision for me.
“He said my mum left three years ago, which I said yes.
“He also said my dad died when I was little, and I said yes.
“He then said I should not worry because it was the end of my suffering.
“He said he had seen that I had been struggling since my mum left, which I said yes; then he asked me to wipe my tears that everything would be alright.
“He asked if I am a Christian which I said yes, and then he introduced himself as Reverend Father Chucks.
“He said that he saw a miracle about to happen on my way home that God had answered my prayers because I have been suffering for a long time.
“Then he asked if I have my Automated Teller Machine card, which I said yes.
“He said a huge amount of money is going to enter my account because that is the way God wants to wipe away my tears.
“He asked me to bring out my ATM card so that he could pray on it and asked me to put it in my small purse to avoid being robbed by hoodlums, which I did.
“For me to enter a tricycle from Traffic junction to Access Bank Junction, then I saw a debit alert.
“Then I started wondering what I did with money and I got another alert.
“This man defrauded me of my lifetime savings and immediately I got home, what I saw in my purse was a wrong card in place of my ATM card.
“I cried but I know that it can’t solve the problem and I also went to the bank and they said that they cannot do anything even if I report the matter to the police.
“And I laid a curse on that man with the spirit of my late parents because he used them and God against me.
“I know that this video will go viral and he will come across the video, wherever you are, you will soon be caught.
“This is your last bus stop and I pray God will surely judge you because the cry of an orphan will never go in vain, God will surely judge you wherever you are.”
