The helicopter released by the Presidency to the Nigerian Air Force earlier in the year has crash landed in Makurdi, Benue State.
The helicopter, from the Presidential Fleet, was released to the Tactical Air Command of the Nigerian Air Force.
However, sources said no one died in the crash and that the level of damage was minimal.
One person aboard the chopper was said to have sustained minor injury.
The Augusta AW101 was said to have crashed shortly after taking off.
