A former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Lamorde, has been posted to the Special Fraud Units of the Nigeria Police Force on Milverton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Lamorde, now a Commissioner of Police, has just returned to police duties after attending a course at the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies.
The posting was part of the deployments carried out by the police hierarchy on Monday.
Lamorde had in 1993 worked at the SFU in the unit charged with investigating advance-fee fraud.
He was there until 2002.
