Hafsat Bello, a female accomplice of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram, has been arrested.
According to the media coordinating body in the fight against insurgency in the country, the National Information Centre, Nigeria’s security forces arrested Bello.
The cheering news and Bello’s photograph became public via the website of the National Orientation Agency, which hosts the NIC and whose Director General, Mike Omeri, is the Coordinator of the media group.
The terse message on the Twitter handle and Facebook page of the NOA reads: “The National Information Center (NIC) has confirmed the arrest of the Boko Haram accomplice and informant, Hafsat Bako. Kudos to our security forces in their mission to #BringBackGirls.”
