The Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the bye-election for the Gulani/Gujuba/Damaturu/Tarmuwa Federal Constituency of Yobe State for April 23, 2016.
The Federal Constituency is made up of four local governments.
These are Gulani, Gujuba, Damaturu and Tarmuwa; 43 Registration Areas and 341 Polling Units.
The Election is to be supervised by the National Commissioner in charge of the North East geopolitical zone, Baba Shettima Arfo.
To man the election, the Commission will deploy: one Returning Officer, 47 Collation Officers, 34 Supervising Presiding Officers, 341 Presiding Officers, 1,431 Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs I, II, III), 242 Assistant Presiding Officers and 84 Reserve APOs.
