Falcons qualify for Women World Cup, beat Bayana

Six-time African Champions, the Super Falcons, have qualified for the Women’s World Cup, Kazastan 2015.
This followed their two nil victory over the Bayana Bayana of South Africa at the ongoing African Women’s Championship in Namibia.
In-form Asisat Oshoala grabbed a brace to pick the World Cup ticket and also send Nigeria into the final.
The South Africans were close to drawing levels after they were awarded a controversial goal in the second half of the tie.
The Edwin Okon girls now await the winners of the second semi finals between Cameroon and Cote d’ Ivoire in the final.
Nigeria has qualified for the World Cup on seven occasions, while they have missed only two since the tournament’s inception.
