Super Eagles’ striker, Emmanuel Emenike, was an unused substitute in Fenerbahce’s 2-1 win over Konyaspor in a Turkish Super Liga clash on Saturday.
Emenike, who is expected to join up with the Super Eagles on Monday, watched from the bench as his teammates made a mince meal of the visitors.
The forward was only considered as a second half substitute last weekend where he fired blank.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce beats Konyaspor at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium despite playing much of the game with 10 men.
Pierre Webo opened the scoring with a driving header on 27 minutes.
However, Konyaspor soon got themselves back in the game when Rangelov equalised from the penalty spot.
Things turned from bad to worse for the home side when Bekir İrtegün got sent off just before half time however, Moussa Sow put the Yellow Canaries back ahead on 49 minutes and Fenerbahçe were able to hold out for the rest of the game.
