Victorious Golden Eaglets defender, Bello Zaharadeen, is on the verge of making a career move to French League giants, OGC Nice.
It was also learnt that other top teams in France are interested and battling to land the Dabo Babes Academy whiz kid.
A France sports agency, which spoke through a Nigerian partner, Clement Shebore, disclosed that arrangements were in top gear to seal the deal with the parents and academy of the youngster.
Shebore said: “Bello was very impressive in the Golden Eaglets’ back line, which indeed helped Nigeria to win the Under-17 World Cup in UAE few months ago.
“French clubs, particularly OGC Nice scouts, were highly impressed with the player’s quality on and off the ball which was a part of the reasons they wanted a deal to have the player in their squad.”
Zaharadeen featured in all games the Golden Eaglets played at the Under -17 World Cup.
