Zambia Vice-Captain, Ziyo Tembo, has boasted that they are ready to rewrite history book by beating the Super Eagles in Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Chipolopolo are currently in Ghana for a two-day training before jetting into Nigeria on Wednesday.
Nigeria are top of Group B with 10 points, while Zambia are second with seven points, of which a win for either team could determine their chances of winning the sole ticket for the mundial.
Tembo said: “Nigeria’s dominance over us is history for we are looking at the future and what will matter most in the game is our application on the pitch.
“We are not inferior to Nigeria, the only difference is that most of our players play in Africa and theirs play in Europe.”
