Few hours after the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhle, was pronounced suspended by a court, policemen and operatives of the Department of State Services have taken over the national secretariat of the party.
Justice Danlami Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court gave the ruling on Wednesday.
Senchi said based on the suspension of Oshiomhole by the party in his Ward in Edo State, he has no justification remaining as the head of the party.
Shortly after two officials of the court served the suspension order on the party, the policemen and DSS operatives arrived at the party secretariat, taking strategic positions.
Also shortly after that, the National Working Committee of the party announced new national officers.
