The representative of Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has expressed his confidence in President Tinubu’s government, stressing that the administration will bring forth positive transformation to the country.
The former two-term Governor of Ogun State said this at his 19th Annual Thanksgiving Service on Sunday.
At the service at Baptist International Worship Center, Sagamu, Ogun State, Daniel appealed to Nigerians to steadfastly support the President Tinubu-led administration irrespective of the current challenges facing the country.
He said: “I have known Asiwaju (Tinubu) for over 20 years and I know that he is very capable, able.
“One thing you must not do is take him for granted.
“I know that Asiwaju will turn around the fortune of this country and I am sure it will happen before long.”
Acknowledging the existing challenges in the country due to some of the policies introduced by Tinubu’s government, OGD, as fondly called, assured Nigerians that these difficulties would lead to a better future.
He said: “If there are little challenges, let’s just accept it.
“That is normally how things like this go.
“I urge you to continue to support him and his administration.”
