Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has congratulated Africa’s foremost industrialist and renowned philanthropist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on his 60th birthday.
Daniel, in his message to the business mogul on the attainment of the diamond age, described Dangote as a man of great affluence, influence and honour whose image looms large across the globe.
According to Daniel: “The Dangote story is so realistic, inspirational and admirable. He is, no doubt, an institution, having invested in many sectors of, not only Nigerian but African economy and even beyond.
“In spite of his wealth, Alhaji Dangote is an embodiment of humility, grace, and generosity. As philanthropist of note, his Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, championed by the Dangote Foundation have impacted so much on the nutrition, health, unemployment and educational challenges of Nigerians. He is, no doubt, a personality who history will never forget for his remarkable contributions to the nation and Africa’s economic development. He is a shinning example and worthy of commendation and recommendation for the present and incoming generations of young Nigerians.”
Daniel then felicitated with the business tycoon, while praying Almighty God to grant him long life, good health and more years of tremendous success in life.
