The Editor of Newsdiaryonline, Abdallah el-Kurebe, who about two weeks ago announced his having tested positive to the Coronavirus Disease, has recovered and been discharged from the Sokoto State isolation centre.
The Editor, according to the credible online newspaper, announced his recovery on Tuesday after he was discharged.
El-Kurebe, who was admitted to the centre at a Specialist Hospital in Sokoto on May 3, 2020 and spent 11 days receiving treatment, said: “I thank God I have been discharged from the isolation centre today, Tuesday, after testing negative for the virus.
“Since my admission to date, I remained stable and without any symptoms whatsoever.”
El-Kuerebe thanked all who prayed, called and supported him in one way or the other.
He also enjoined all to abide by the rules given by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in order to stop the spread of the virus.
