The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has adduced reasons why the appointees of the President and chieftains of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, are not under the searchlight of anti-corruption agencies.
Adesina said this when he appeared on SweetFm’s flagship programme, The Podium.
SweetFm is a radio station based in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Adesina said Buhari’s anti-corruption fight is far from being selective.
He said chieftains of the APC and political appointees are not being prosecuted because no evidence has indicted them yet.
He said: “The onus lies on he who alleges to also prove.
“The fact that any Peoples Democratic Party member crosses to APC does not provide automatic shield.
“Whoever is indicted will be prosecuted.”
