Homicide detectives in the Oyo State Police Command have arrested a shoe cobbler for allegedly hitting a man to death.
The suspect, Lukman Yusuf, was said to have killed Giwa Nurudeen in a fit of temper, during a face-off.
According to eyewitnesses’ accounts, Yusuf picked an iron rod and slammed it on the head of the victim, leading to his death.
Detectives explained that the quarrel between the deceased and the suspect was over a casino win.
