The Apostolic Faith Church will hold its 2017 annual youth weekend on June 25, 2017 on how youths could become self-reliant in the face of unemployment and recession.
Olumide Ajayi, the head of the youth wing of the church, said the 2017 Youth Programme, tagged: “Connected and Secured,” would feature symposium, personality profile, question and answer section and sacred music from the youth choir.
Ajayi said this year’s edition would be a soul inspiring one in a statement, adding that it would hold at its auditorium located at Maotasky Close, Akiode, off Ojodu/Ogba Road, Lagos State.
He said that many youths had benefitted from their interactions with important personalities in the society from previous editions of the programme
Ajayi said: “With the present economic downturn and prevalent youth restiveness in the country, there is an urgent need to intimate our young ones on the way out of the present challenges.
“They need to know that it is only God that can provide solutions to all problems. They need to connect to him.
“Only God can provide job security, marriage security, prosperity and other heart desires.
“Many are in need of security, and this security can only be guarantee by having good relationship with God.’’
