One of the schoolgirls kidnapped on April 14 by Boko Haram insurgents from the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok , Borno State has escaped, an online news portal, TheCable reports.
This was disclosed by the National Chairman of the Kibaku Area Development Association, Dr. Pogu Bitrus, to The Cable.
Bitrus, however, refused to reveal the identity of the girl.
He said this could endanger her life again.
He said: “The girl is currently at a location I cannot disclose.
“But I can assure you that she is safe.”
