The Castle of Law, a law firm based in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has announced the appointment of Prof. Omoniyi Bukola Akinola as the new Head of Chamber and Senior Partner, following the exit of Dr. Kayode Ajulo.
This followed the appointment of Ajulo, Founder/Managing Partner, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State.

Prof. Akinola, a distinguished Professor of Law specialising in Corporate Law Practice, brings over 20 years of invaluable experience in litigation to the firm.
The statement announcing the appointment on Thursday added: “His impressive journey includes tenures at prominent law firms such as F U Ekavhiare & Associates in Okigwe, Late Dr. I. N. Ijioma SAN in Umuahia, and Oyewale Freeman & Co in Lagos.
“He has also served as Head of Litigation at Okwudiri Obigwe & Partners and as an Associate at Anene Ojinta.
“Prof. Akinola’s academic credentials are equally remarkable. He has held the position of Deputy Director of Academics at the Nigerian Law School and has served as Dean of the Faculty of Law at Redeemer’s University in Nigeria, as well as the School of Law at Kampala International University in Uganda. His contributions to legal scholarship are evidenced by numerous publications, and he continues to inspire future legal minds as a faculty member at Baze University, Abuja.”

Supporting Prof. Akinola in this new and monumental role will be Ifunanya Jemilla Okeke as Deputy Head of Chambers for Civil Litigation, and Hamzat Nuhu Dantani as Deputy Head of Chambers for Criminal Litigation.
