A coroner, O.A. Komolafe, has recommended that the Synagogue Church for All Nations, which was founded by Pastor T.B. Joshua, be investigated and prosecuted for the collapse of a guest house within the church premises last year.
The building, which collapsed on September 12, 2014, resulted in the death of 116 persons.
Most of the victims were South Africans.
Also recommended for prosecution were two structural engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun.
They are to be prosecuted for criminal negligence.
The church was also indicted for building without “possessing necessary permits”.
