Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Plateau United, have crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 4-0 in Algeria to USM Algiers.
Plateau United went into the game leading 2-1 from the first leg played in Lagos.
The hosts went into the half time break with a 2-0 lead before adding two more goals in the second half to send Plateau United packing from the tournament on a 5-2 aggregate score.
Plateau United have now crashed out from the continent after failing to make it into the group stages of the CAF Champions League, which led to their demotion to the Confederation Cup.
