The collation of results for Thursday’s Adamawa State governorship supplementary election has been concluded with the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri, winning in all the 14 local government areas.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Fintiri scored 8,839 votes to beat his closest rival, Governor Muhammadu Bindow of the All Progressives Congress, who got 1,391 votes.
In the previous election, Fintiri was leading with a margin lead of 32,476 votes.
The supplementary election was conducted in 44 units in 29 wards of 14 local government areas.
