Etisalat Nigeria has complied with the demand of the Etisalat Group that it changes its name within three weeks.
The demand for a change of name was handed down last week by the Etisalat Group in the United Arab Emirates, which gave three weeks ultimatum.
The Cable is reporting that the new name of the company will be 9Mobile.
The Etisalat Group pulled out of Etisalat Nigeria following an unresolved $1.2 billion bank loan.
