The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Gboyega Aribisogan, has been impeached.
The Eagle Online was told that 10 members of Ekiti State House of Assembly impeached him on Monday morning.
Aribisogan had on Sunday raised the alarm that a former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, was bent on impeaching him.
As at press time, a new Speaker was yet to be elected for the Assembly.
