Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine striker, Brown Ideye, has expressed disappointment over his exclusion from the Super Eagles’ World Cup party but promised to support the three-time African champions when the Mundial finally kicks off in Brazil.
The embattled forward stated this while reacting to several comments that was posted on his twitter handle: @OfficialIdeye, on Wednesday.
In his words: “I’m sorry all my fans that things turned out this way, it makes me believe that I have to work very hard and also improve my game as a striker.
“So disappointed but life does not end here. Life goes ON!!
“I’m at the point that nothing surprises me anymore in football, so I just have to forget about this disappointment and move on.”
The former Sochaux of France goal banger went on to promise the team total support in the campaign at the World Cup.
Ideye added: “Last thing I will do is to wish my friends BAD!
“We are more then team mates, we are like a family in and out the pitch. That is why we are moving forward. I wish you guys all the best and I will be flying my GREEN every match day.
“Some of the brothers (Eagles players) have been calling my phone and we have been talking. My phone is so hot right now. Some are surprised and shocked but I told them to relax and focus on the task ahead of them.
“And they should go and achieve something good for our country
“I think the coach has the finally say. He has made his list. We all have to respect it and wish the team success in Brazil.
“Thanks to you guys for all the support.”
