Delivering on its promise to change the face of online dating in Nigeria by  providing unique experience to love seekers, BestD8.Com, Africa’s premier relationship portal, in association with Beat 99.9 FM and Classic FM,  has unveiled “Leap for Love” – an intriguing engagement designed to celebrate love  and Valentine this leap year.

Explaining the concept and the rationale behind it, spokesperson for the site, Bolanle Olayinka, said: “The leap year, in some countries, is a time when ladies propose to the guys they wish to be with. It is a once-in-a-life-time experience where ladies express themselves by choosing who they want to spend the season with.

“We are using this unique tradition to create an unimaginable aura of love; uncommon but real. Intentionally, we designed this concept to fit into the Valentine’s Day spirit. Besides the fun and the experience of witnessing love in another dimension, it will also build mutual trust between lovers and love-seekers, leading ultimately to an endearing relationship.”

To participate, ladies are to compose their proposals to their man, in no more than 99 words. Entries are to be pasted on the Forum Page on the BestD8.Com website. Nine of the most creative proposals will be selected for prizes. Olayinka said, entries would only be received between Feb 1 and Feb 14and the winners will be announced by 2surprise A-list celebrities.

The winners and their dates get to spend time together in locations with intimate ambience. They also get their pick of a wide range of activities like paint ball shooting, karaoke, go-carting, a relaxing treat at the spa or dinning at the pool side of a posh hotel.

After their dates, the couples will then be interviewed separately about their experience and what they feel about their time together. Clips from the date will be uploaded online and integrated on to BestD8.Com’s and TheBeat FM’s Facebook pages for people to watch and leave comments on the compatibility and suitability of the couple. The couple with the most number of “Likes” will be declared the star prize winner.

Asked what that is, Bolanle smiled and said: “We are keeping that under wraps for now. But you can be sure it will knock the wind out of a lot of people. And like love, it will be something never to be forgotten.”

Speaking further on what inspired “Leap for Love,” Bolanle revealed that following last year’s successful launch of the site and the overwhelming acceptance, the company felt it is time to start reeling out the unbeatable services the site offers noting that more are on the way.

For more information about the promo log on to www.bestd8.com or stay tuned to the Beat99.9 fm and Classic FM.
