Big Brother Naija, the most popular reality TV show in Nigeria, is back for its 10th season. And fans all over the country are buzzing with excitement. The show, which first premiered in Nigeria in 2016, has become a cultural phenomenon, captivating audiences with its mix of drama, intrigue, and entertainment. This edition, themed: “10/10,” is special because it is the 10th anniversary season.
This season’s premiere kicked off with a bang, with two launch nights. Fifteen female housemates got into the Big Brother house on Saturday and 14 male housemates joined them on Sunday, making it a total of 29 contestants entering the Big Brother Naija house to compete for the coveted title of winner at the two launches. This leaves one missing because there should be 30 housemates.
This season’s housemates come from diverse backgrounds and bring their own unique personalities to the show, making for an explosive mix of characters.
Viewers have already been treated to a taste of drama on the launch nights, with alliances already forming. It promises to be an exciting season. As always, Big Brother Naija is full of twists and turns, with unexpected evictions, secret tasks, and surprise guests keeping the housemates on their toes.
The major highlights of this 10 over 10 season are the changes to the Head of House games. The HOH games will now be played on Sundays, as against Mondays in previous editions. It gets even more interesting because a Head of House challenger game will now be held on Monday, where the HOH is required to defend his or her title.
Of course, no season of Big Brother Naija would be complete without the infamous diary room confessions, where housemates spill their secrets, fears, and frustrations to Big Brother. These intimate moments give viewers a window into the minds of the contestants and provide insight into their strategies and motivations.

Being betrayed by close friends and nearly losing everything abroad, has not only made her stronger, but she’s also healed, and unshakably grounded in her Christian faith. Koyin is a 21-year-old model on a mission, chasing the spotlight in music, acting, and everything in between. He brings the energy, the drip, the dance floor chaos – call him your certified party plug and fashion-forward vibe machine. Koyin has featured in music videos, ads (hello Coke Studio 2023!), and he knows how to own the screen. “I come from a tight family of six, ride with a small but solid crew though it seems I’m a magnet for gist and drama. Ameh Unekwuojo Godswill is a 27-year-old Lagos-raised firecracker with roots in Kogi State and the unmistakable spirit of Ajegunle in his bones. A proud graduate of the Maritime Academy, his life’s high points include making his mother proud on his passing out parade and the low, watching her apartment demolished with nothing in his pocket. Though from a broken home but built on grit, Unekwojo is a drummer, fashion designer, and interior decorator with a sharp tongue, bold opinions, and a heart that beats for truth. He once appeared as a cultural dancer on Goge Africa, was a multiple award-winner in school, and a thoroughbred Mainland boy, he’s now ready to bring his natural charisma, street influence, and unfiltered energy to the Big Brother Naija house. I have worked on AR experiences for top artists like Ladipoe and Mr Eazi and collaborated with tech giants like Facebook and Snapchat,” says Faith. Faith describes himself as riveting, calculated, and alluring and honestly believes he’s got the sauce this show needs. “I’m a perfect mix of book-smart and street-smart, and I know how to lead, how to entertain, and how to shake things up.
