The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has recommended capital punishment for anyone caught in the act of kidnapping.
The prophet made this known on Sunday in a statement signed and issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.
Ayodele said if the government is genuine about putting an end to the kidnapping menace, there should be immediate death sentence for anyone guilty of kidnapping.
He explained that the terrorists need quick judgment in order to curb the act, but stated that if the government doesn’t take actions like this, insecurity will increase.
Among the things Primate Ayodele said will happen if the government doesn’t enact capital punishment for the kidnappers is the abduction of top government officials and those in the Presidential Villa.
He said: “If the government is genuine about ending kidnapping and insecurity, death sentence should be enacted for kidnappers and terrorists in the country.
“They should kill anyone caught in these devilish acts.
“They need quick judgment to curb.

“If the government continues to pamper them, insecurity will continue to increase and I see that top officials will be kidnapped.
“The Aso rock isn’t safe too, I see an invasion and operation by kidnappers even in the villa.
“Insecurity will become worse than ever but if you give them death sentence, it will reduce drastically.”
