The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, led by its Interim National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, on Wednesday met with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his Asokoro home in Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting, which was conveyed at the instance of the APC leaders, was aimed at wooing Abubakar to the party.
At the end of the meeting, Abubakar was said to have pleaded for more time to consult with his political associates.
He reportedly assured the leadership of the APC that by the end of the year, he would make his decision public.
