The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has disassociated himself from a report making the rounds that he verbally attacked Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, and Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka on their prophecies concerning the last Anambra State governorship election.
The November 6, 2021 election was won by the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Prof. Charles Soludo.
There had been several predictions by men of God on who will win the poll, with such swinging among Soludo; the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Andy Ubah; and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Valentine Ozigbo.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele explained that he never made such statement and didn’t grant any interview where he chided other prophets for their prophecies on the Anambra State election.
This comes after several publications had shared the report, with the headline: “Primate Ayodele Chides Mbaka, Odumeje Over Failed Predictions On Anambra Election.”
Primate Ayodele made it known that he will always stand by his word and can never be intimidated by anyone, but added that there is the need for him to disassociate himself from any false statement credited to him.
He noted that whatever any prophet says is none of his business and therefore has no hand in bringing anyone down.
Furthermore, he warned media practitioners to desist from the act of causing crisis among prophets in the country.
Ayodele said: There is a publication making rounds that I verbally attacked Rev. Fr. Mbaka and Prophet Odumeje for failed prediction on Anambra election.
“I want to state it here that I never issued such statement neither did I grant such interview to whoever published the story.
“It is not my style to glorify my prophecies against others, all glory belongs to God.
“I have no business with any other Prophets on their Prophecies, God talks to everyone differently.
“I urge the public to ignore and thrash any statement that says I verbally attacked some prophets for their prophecies, It never came from me.
“I also want to advice media practitioners to desist from Publications that cause unnecessarily rivalry and crisis between men of God.”
