AITEO Cup: Tornadoes, Sunshine Stars take leads into semifinals second leg

Niger Tornadoes of Minna and Sunshine Stars of Akure won the first leg of their semifinal clashes in the ongoing Aiteo Cup.
While Niger Tornadoes defeated IfeanyiUbah FC 4-2, Sunshine Stars pipped Akwa United by a lone goal.
The return fixtures are scheduled for Wednesday.
In the women category of the Aiteo Cup, Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels ended it two apiece in the first leg of the semifinal clash.
The other semifinal fixture between Ibom Angels and Confluence Queens, however, did not hold following Abia Angels’ appeal against their disqualification.
The competition’s Organising Committee will meet to take a decision on the appeal on Tuesday.
