Aero makes air return on Cameroon flight

Simon Tumba, the spokesman of Aero Contractors Airline, on Friday confirmed that the airline’s aircraft made an air return as a result of a sensor alarm noticed on the flight deck.
In a statement in Lagos, Tumba noted that Aero’s flight AJ 2002 flying between Lagos and Douala, Cameroon, on Friday afternoon had an air return as a result of a sensor alarm noticed by the flight crew on the flight deck.
“Following strict safety standard procedures, our flight crew decided to abort the flight,” the statement said.
Tumba, however, said that the problem has been fixed.
He said the airline management was awaiting the approval of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to commence the use of the aircraft.
