Adeyeye urges transport workers to disregard Fayose’s directive

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, has called on road transport workers to disregard the selfish orders of Governor Ayo Fayose that they should park their buses and sit at home in a bid to prevent them from conveying lovers and supporters of the APC to the party’s mega rally tomorrow.
The former governorship aspirant, who spoke during an exclusive interview on Voice FM, Ado Ekiti, said all the plots by Governor Fayose to disrupt the rally, which would be attended by President Muhammad Buhari and the APC family nationwide, would fail.
Prince Adeyeye said the APC mega rally would be well attended and successful despite attempts by Governor Fayose and his cronies to frustrate it.
He hinted that aside the governor’s plan to shut down the transport system across the state to thwart the Mega rally, he has also ordered civil servants from grade level one to seven to meet him for an unscrupulous meeting at the pavilion.
However, Prince Adeyeye during the interview expressed his displeasure at the high rate of politicking by civil servants which in turn has hampered the overall poor performance of the education sector in the state.
He also dispelled rumours been peddled by Governor Fayose that the APC was planning to rig the forthcoming elections, saying it was in the nature of the sitting governor to cook and spread deceit.
He equally advised Ekiti People to take the forthcoming seriously in the interest of a better Ekiti State devoid of deceit, backwardness, underdevelopment and lies that has long been entrenched by the current administration.
Prince Adeyeye also made it clear that Ekiti residents should see the forthcoming elections as the third term agenda of Governor Fayose who was ready to do anything at whatever cost to lay claim to the common wealth of the state through a surrogate.
The former Minister of state of works assured that there would be adequate security to ensure the safety of lives and properties before, during and after the July 14 election.
