Ademola Adeshina hails Keshi's Eagles vision

Ex-international, Ademola Adeshina, has thrown his weight behind the current Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi.
Adeshina, the legendary midfielder of the then IICC Shooting Stars of Ibadan, later became a phenomenon with the national team in the late 80s and early 90s.

Adeshina spoke with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
After watching the training session of the Super Eagles ahead of their friendly with the Lone Star of Liberia, which lasted over two hours, said he was convinced that there are still plenty of talents in the Nigerian league waiting to be harnessed.
“The problem is that the players are in a hurry to play in Europe and they end up selling cheap. They must be patient, make their names here and go abroad to add to the name and make good money,” he said.
Adeshina also poured encomiums on the Nigeria Football Federation for having the vision to restart the discovery of the national team from the local players.
He also had sweet words for the Stephen Keshi-led technical crew for taking the risk in accepting to groom the home grown talents.
He said: “We can get it right and soon people will see what I mean because I know Keshi well and he knows he knows Nigerian football.”
