The venue was Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja and the atmosphere in and outside the hall was turned to fanfare as eminent lawyers, professors and several comrades from the different strata of the society stormed the book launch to identify with erudite lawyer cum comrade, Prof. Femi Aborishade.
Osagie Obayuwana, the book reviewer, after a thorough review, said it is a special and historic book designed to checkmate labour and employment laws in Nigeria and other African countries.
Prof. Peter Okebukola, while commending Aborishade for his painstaking approach in educating the public through the book, said there is the need for us to be conscious of history, as a people without history is doomed.
Okebukola said Aborishade’s book has championed the cause the labour and employment law in Nigeria and it will go a long way to give hope to helpless Nigerian labour laws.
Also reacting to the review, a representative from Tayo Oyetibo law firm, Funmilayo Kuku, said Aborishade has done phenomenally well in giving hope to Nigerian labour and other African countries.
Aborishade no doubt had a gratifying day as many donated impressively to the presentation of the book.
Top celebrities at the launch included representative of Femi Falana, Rotimi Akeredolu, Hon. Justice A. M. Lawal, Dr. John Niyi Olanrewaju, Comrade Sunday Salako, Femi Aduwo and Engr. Bede Opara among others.
