The Abia State Government has confirmed the resignation of the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Chima Oriaku, and Commissioner for Agriculture, Prof. Monica Ironkwe.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Ukoha, on Wednesday.
The statement revealed that the commissioners tendered their resignation letters to Governor Alex Otti.

It stated that the governor thanked them for their services and sacrifices to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
