Three-time African champions, the Super Eagles has maintained their 45th position on the World football governing body, FIFA, monthly ranking for May.
The AFCON 2013 winners got 659 points which is a slight improvement from 652 points they gathered in the month of April.
The Nigerian side ranked 45th in the world, also placed eight best team behind Algeria, Cote ‘d Ivoire, Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal, Cape Verde Island and Guinea in Africa.
Meanwhile, the top 17 positions are unaltered from last month, which means that Germany (1st, unchanged) continue to lead the way ahead of Argentina (2nd, unchanged) and Belgium (3rd, unchanged).
There has also been no change to the regional composition of the top 50: UEFA has 29 teams, whereas CAF has ten, CONMEBOL has six, CONCACAF has three, the AFC has two, and the OFC has none.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 4 June.
