Nigeria’s representatives at the 2024 Basketball Africa League, Rivers Hoopers, have signed John Wilkins for this season’s edition.
The highly rated basketball player was part of the Stade Malien team, which finished third at last season’s BAL.
Wilkins dropped an impressive 18 points in their win over Cape Town Tigers and was awarded Visit Rwanda Player of the Game in the quarterfinals of the 2023 BAL.

Born in 1989 to former NBA player Jeff Wilkins, the experienced centre has played in Belgium, France, Morocco, and Germany.
The French-American played for Morocco’s national team at the 2017 AfroBasket in Tunisia and Senegal.
Wilkins is the third import player signed by the KingsMen for Season Four of the Basketball Africa League.
