Inter keen on Mikel

Inter Milan Coach, Walter Mazzarri, has fuelled speculation of a move for Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel.
Italian Mazzarri led Inter to fifth place in Serie A this season, ensuring that European football will return to the Nerazzurri after a disappointing 2012/13 season, in which they finished ninth.
The 52-year-old already appears to have set out his targets for a summer of spending at the San Siro, with extra numbers needed for the added games that the Europa League will bring next season.
Mazzarri confirmed his interest in Mikel, who could find himself surplus to requirements at Jose Mourinho’s new-look Stamford Bridge outfit.
“Obi Mikel? I don’t want to name too many names,” Mazzari said.
Reports in Italy however have it that the Inter manager is keen on securing the services of the Nigerian defensive midfielder to replace Esteban Cambiasso who recently left the San Siro club after 10 years.
The 26-year-old Nigerian has been at Chelsea for eight years after being signed under controversial circumstances in Jose Mourinho’s first spell at the club.
