A video of a masquerade dancing inside a Catholic Church has been causing debate on social media.
In the video, the masquerade is seen dancing while the church members as well as the officiating priests cheered him on.
While some Nigerians see nothing wrong in the video, others are of the opinion that it is wrong to bring in a masquerade into God’s house.
@ Stella Erickson Kalu: “Masquerade in the church? Mtchhee, ehhh, it’s not good. In my own understanding of Christianity, masquerade has a spirit behind it. And even anyone engaging in it or maybe later denounce the group goes for deliverance later.”
