Contrary to reports circulating on the social media, Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Nigeria has not yet released any prophetic message for 2018.
A video posted to YouTube showed the cleric addressing congregants on December 31, 2017, stating that he was still waiting for divine directives before releasing any revelation.
However, Joshua did sound a prophetic note of warning that the year ahead would be replete with many “battles”.
“I am supposed to bring you the revelation of what you should expect next year,” Joshua said in the midst of his sermon, posted on Friday to Emmanuel TV’s official YouTube Channel.
“I compiled everything but many of those things are things you know already – because the signs we are seeing now cannot be overcome just in a year,” he solemnly continued.
The cleric stressed that people should concentrate on “survival” in 2018.
Joshua said: “This coming year is a year you must be ready to fight the battle. It’s a battle year – a battle to survive. Think of your survival.”
He continued in his customary parabolic fashion: “It’s a year your children need to sit at your feet and learn from you. Share your experiences with them. It’s a parable. We are in a warfare where the serious-minded will be victorious.”
Joshua then prayed for congregants, insisting that they needed “pure hearts” if they wished to enjoy God’s blessings in 2018.
He said: “Let the relationship between you and God in this New Year be reestablished in Jesus’ Name,” he prayed. “Receive a free spirit – a spirit that is free from offence, bitterness, unforgiveness and pain of the past.”
