Hajia Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, arrived in the United States of America on Thursday as Special Guest at the 25th Anniversary of Zumunta Association, holding at the Silver Spring civic centre in Maryland, Washington DC.
According to Hajia Buhari’s Media Aide, Zakari Yau Nadabo, the event, with the theme: “Rebirth and Renewable,” is also expected to have the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Muhammad, as Guest Speaker.
Hajia Buhari will also be hosted to a round table discussion by the US Institute of Peace to explore an in-depth conversation with a group of senior US policy makers and an invested group of practitioners focused on Nigeria.
The institute is a congressionally funded, independent national institute dedicated to the proposition that peace is possible, practical and essential for United States and international security.
Hajia Buhari, who was accompanied by the wives of some Governors and the Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, will also hold meetings at the George Mason University, Washington during her period of stay in the United States.
