Zambia’s national soccer team, the Chipolopolo, has arrived in Rwanda for the 2016 African Nations Championship finals due to kick off on Saturday.
The competition will run until February 7.
The Chipolopolo boys, coached by George Lwandamina, arrived in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, on Thursday after a five-day training camp in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Zambia will be based in Rubavu together with its Group D rivals – Zimbabwe, Mali and Uganda.
The first match for Zambia is on January 19 versus Zimbabwe in a Group D opening match.
Zambia will face Uganda and Mali on January 23 and 27 respectively.
